Christmas in France

I spent my Christmas holidays in Southern France. My sister lives there with her family; her boyfriend and her two gorgeous kids, India and Lumi Lee. They live just by the Mediterranean ocean, in the area of Camargue in the town of Saintes Maries de la Mer. I had a great time enjoying the silence of the countryside, watching flamingoes fly and buzzards sitting solemnly on trees. I even went jogging a couple of times just to remind myself how much I actually loathe the most primitive sport known to man. Dipping my hand in the sea at Christmas Eve was something I'm glad to have done. Also, I read the first book of Leo Tolstoi's Anna Karenina on the journey. It seems to capture the better and the worst part of human being's psychological world in an unassuming prose. Beautiful writing and very moving at points. Anyways, coming back to Finland meant returning to my studies. I try to keep Mark Twain's maxim in mind: "Don't let your schooling come in the way of your education".
